I'm Wendy Hansen, Sales and Store Manager of Davison Rugs.  It all started for me the year of 1987.  I married my husband Andrew Hansen and the family business, now starting its 71st year being in operation.  Within 2 years, I was out installing flooring with my husband and his brother John. Their father, Herb, and their uncle, Joe, were in the store.  Our customers couldn't believe there was a girl installing their flooring, but they loved it.  I did this for 8 years. At the end of 1995, Uncle Joe retired and I went into the store.  I manage all sales, bookkeeping, orders, inventory and all in-store matters.  I've been going strong for 11 years now.  In 1998-1999, I was pregnant with my son, Andrew, Jr.  I worked right through to the day I went into labor.  I was back to full-time in 4 weeks with baby in tow.  Our customers loved coming in and doing business with us and seeing the baby.  They were so kind and understanding. We did business like that for 3 1/2 years. Which brings us to now, and most importantly, to thank all of my customers' for putting their faith and trust in me, to help them make the right choices and decisions for all their flooring needs.  For their continued support in sending in other family members, friends, and neighbors.  We carry both Residential and Commercial flooring.  Also, thank you to my husband, Andy and brother-in-law, John (the 4th generation) for their expert knowledge of the flooring, measuring and installation.  Without this wonderful combination, we wouldn't be what we are today.
